While in CO Springs during the summer of 2003, my group decided to hike one of the foothills of Pikes Peak. As we prepared our ascent, a young lady started running up the trail. We thought, "Well, if she can run, then we shouldn't have any problems with a leisurely walk." After two hours and a couple of miles, we looked and felt like roadkill. We decided to take a much needed break at the halfway point. That's when the young lady came running back down the trail; she wasn't even sweating. Wordlessly, we turned around then and there. We spent the rest of the day hydrating in the air conditioned hotel.

Good luck with the training.

When the official called the personal foul against Georgia Tech, most of us were willing to call and make sure it was assessed against Georgia Tech, it did not happen.

I found it amusing the next morning when I read the Bristol paper about the game, the sports writer was making a point of the fact that the defense won the game for Tech, as if that were a bad thing. Hey, Tech has been winning games with their defense for 25 years, that's what we call "Hokie Football". The defense winning games is a good thing because winning games is a good thing.

wish i could stick up for my school (FSU), but as little as I know about football, i know the past two years have been painful to watch. Sad when I can go to the games for free, just need to pick up tickets, and decide it isn't worth the trouble... of course, last i heard etsu lost what little team they had, so maybe i should be grateful.

What a marvelous adventure those rovers have given us, I just love looking at the pictures they are sending back. And what a testament to the ability of our engineers to produce quality rovers at less than top dollar.
