I won’t lay off criticizing Dan "Steinbrenner" Snyder’s spending habits, meddling, and quick trigger, but here are a couple of things the ‘Skins have done right over the past 7 years: first, drafting talented young quarterback Jason Campell and then not playing him while grizzled veterans played medocre football ahead of him. Grizzled means experienced, and a smart young player not playing is watching and learning. Says one sports writer: how did young Jason Campbell become this polished? By not playing him during his bad-decision-making formative years and allowing him to mature under the tutelage of experienced older players, that’s how.
And now his time has come.
