Official Bar Results [General] — Michael @ 4:27 pm

Today I received, in the mail, an envelope from the Colorado Supreme Court, stating that they have accepted the recommendation of the Board of Law Examiners that I be admitted to the practice of law in Colorado.  This means that, aside from paying more money for the license and taking the oath, there are NO potential stumbling blocks between me and being fully licensed.  (We knew that I had passed, but there was still the background check to be completed.  There is no "pending" status, so that is also behind us.)

On Thursday my excitement was reserved - just like knowing that you passed doesn’t relieve the anxiety until they tell you that you’ve passed, knowing that you’ll pass the character and fitness requirements doesn’t relieve the anxiety until they tell you that you’re of sufficient moral fiber to practice law.

Today, my excitement is unreserved.  Career is on track!  Next stop - jobville!
