Cheap cop-out! [General] — Michael @ 4:29 am

I am calling Time Magazine out for being slackers, wimps, spineless, lazy, etc.

Last year, I thought they were pulling the ultimate cop-out by selecting PERSONS of the year, rather than a person.  Cheap, I said.  Terrible, I moaned.  Never to be topped, I thought.

They topped it.

Unable, unwilling, whatever, to identify or select or do any actual work in writing up the person of the year article, Time officially killed the person of the year concept by simply not choosing anyone.  They selected EVERYONE - the person of the year is YOU.  I wish I was kidding, joking, playing a practical joke, but I’m not.  I cannot think of enough negative remarks to make about Time and this horrendously bad…thing.

I hope whatever’s infected Time isn’t contagious.

Imagine:

This year’s American and National League PLAYERS of the year: the fans!

And the Oscar goes to: everyone!

THIS is the result of taking competition out of school gym periods and recess.  This is political correctness taken to its logical conclusion: complete and utter extreme stupidity.

Let me close by just saying, Wow, Time.  I’m impressed.
